Moving Day!

Welp, it finally happened. I have officially moved into my very own big girl (by which I mean grown-up) apartment!

Scary.

I pretty much have all my stuff out of my car and my mom's van, but as you can see from the pictures below, I'm far from organized internally... Hopefully it won't activate my OCD and give me a panic attack haha.

Can't wait to organize and really move-in tomorrow!

Holy Earthquake!

I (along with thousands of other people up and down the east coast) just experienced my first ever earthquake!

That's crazy right?

A 5.9 earthquake.

Since when do we have those in Virginia?

I happened to be in the parking lot of my apartment building with my mom when all of a sudden the van started shaking. We looked at each other and were like 'did we just experience an earthquake?' All the other people in the complex ran out of the buildings... It was crazy.

My brother called and said that he had felt it at home and my uncle called and said that he had felt it up in Vermont!

I'm just glad we survived and that it wasn't a terrorist attack...

Well That Was Scary.

About 30 seconds ago I witnessed my first tractor-trailer tire blowout. It was kind of terrifying. Good thing mom was driving...

Wedding Bells

After growing my hair out for a over year (thanks mostly to my haircutter deciding not to cut hair anymore), I FINALLY got a hair cut.

5 Reasons I Wish I Was Rich

I recently saw this chair at a furniture store and I can't even tell you how much I want it.

I don't know why but I'm incredibly obsessed with this pattern.

I still really want this bed.

And wouldn't this comforter look awesome with it?

I absolutely love the nightstand that matches my new dresser.

I wanted this adorable little gem so badly, 

but couldn't quite justify the $45 (on Amazon!) price tag.

Sometime I feel like a real failure in life. Then my papa helps me feel better.

I'm so excited, beyond excited in fact to get my hands on this book. 500 Acres and No Place to Hide is Susan McCorkindale's follow-up to her first memoir Confessions of a Counterfeit Farm, which is quite possibly the funniest book I've ever read.

I guess I have to renew my Barnes and Noble membership now...
